Nicaragua Coffee Project

By Carl Most

“Working with the poorest of the poor day in and day out can be quite heart wrenching at times. Each week we teach of God's love, salvation, goodness and provision all the while these sweet people struggle to survive day in and day out.

“In one such community where I have worked for several years named Los Barzones, I asked the Lord what could be done to provide jobs and a steady income for the families. After racking my brain and drawing on my limited experience in this type of need, I came up with nothing! The community is in the middle of nowhere, with no city water, or power services etc. Thankfully, however, God's will and goodness is not limited by my intelligence and experience. He wonderfully supplied the help of a fellow missionary, working with Reflections Vocational Training Ministries to lend her expertise to suggest a project.

“Due to God's leading to create this project, ten women from different families have jobs making bags out of burlap in which we sell Nicaragua's fine coffee.”

How You can Help the Coffee Project

You can order a bag of fine Nicaraguan coffee from CMA for yourself or as a unique gift for others. You can e-mail or call the CMA office to order a bag of Nicaraguan coffee. For all orders in the US, a suggested donation of $12.00 is appreciated. This will cover CMA sending this gift and it will help provide an income to these women that depend on the sale of their craft for income.

In your first and third posts you mention calling and/or emailing CMA. Where are the #'s and links? Am I just overlooking them?
