Nicaragua Coffee Project

“Working with the poorest of the poor day in and day out can be quite heart wrenching at times. Each week we teach of God's love, salvation, goodness and provision all the while these sweet people struggle to survive day in and day out.
“In one such community where I have worked for several years named Los Barzones, I asked the Lord what could be done to provide jobs and a steady income for the families. After racking my brain and drawing on my limited experience in this type of need, I came up with nothing! The community is in the middle of nowhere, with no city water, or power services etc. Thankfully, however, God's will and goodness is not limited by my intelligence and experience. He wonderfully supplied the help of a fellow missionary, working with Reflections Vocational Training Ministries to lend her expertise to suggest a project.
“Due to God's leading to create this project, ten women from different families have jobs making bags out of burlap in which we sell Nicaragua's fine coffee.”

Director's Perspective
God is working in and through CMA to accomplish His purposes! It is exciting to share God’s activity with you by highlighting some of the people and ministry opportunities that God has used to further His kingdom. Looking back and reflecting on God’s activity in and through CMA missionaries I began to realize why it seems like time is accelerating at the speed of light!
